Announcements for the week of Dec. 2nd

Friday, Dec. 6th

The Freshman Girls Basketball won over Otsego thirty-one to thirteen last night. It was a  Great team effort all around, the teams new record is 3-0 on the season.

 

The Bryan 8th grade Lady Bears started off their league play with a big win. They defeated Wauseon 50 - 5. This improves them to 2-0 on the season. Leading the way for the Bears was Ella Rau with 12, Calysta Wasson with 11, and Kailee Thiel with 10. They will return to action on Monday when they host Paulding. 

 

The Bryan 7th grade Lady Bears fell to the Wauseon Indians 15 -25. This makes them 1-1 on the season. 

 

Bryan 8th grade boys basketball fell to Wauseon 38-23. Sam Herold had 9 points to lead the Bears. Karter Brown added 6 points. Bryan is now 1-1 on the season.

 

Pre-Sale Basketball tickets will be available in the Athletic office for the Boys JV/V game at Wayne Trace (December 6th). Tickets are $4.00 for students and $6.00 for adults on Thursday, December 5th and Friday, December 6th during school hours. All tickets at the gate are $6.00. 

Attention Seniors: There is still time to order your cap & gown and graduation announcements. Please place your order online at jostens.com as soon as possible.  All orders need to be received by Tuesday December 10th.  Also, please return your diploma information card to the main office by December 10th. 

 
 

Wednesday, Dec. 4th

The varsity girl's basketball team fell to Wayne Trace in a close game last night 45 to 42. Balanced scoring from the Bears were led by Delilah Taylor with 8 points, McKendry Semer and Kloee Antigo with 7, and Kelly Miller and Shallyn Miley each scored 6 points in the loss.

Swim and Dive hosted Ayersville last night for our first home meet. The girls won 190 to 58 and the Boys won 127 to 12. Congratulations to Addie Oberlin and Ethan Patterson for being voted athletes of the meet by their teammates!

The Bryan 8th grade boys opened their season with a 40-28 win over Fairview. Noah Huard led the way with 11 points. Maddox Langenderfer added 9 while Jase Kepler added 7 points in the win. Bryan returns to action Thursday at home against Wauseon. 7th Grade Boys fell to Fairview 32-15.

Tuesday, Dec. 3rd

The bowling kicked off their season last week with both the girls and boys getting wins against Delta. The Bears were led by Austin Brandeberry with a 226 and Emma Meade bowled a 252. Bryan headed to Evergreen in Bowling last night and brought home victories.
The girls won 2032-1683. Jade Easley had the high game with a 200.
Boys won 1958-1782. Matthew Meade had a 214.

Over the weekend, the girls basketball team defeated Holgate by a score of 47 to 35. Shallyn Miley paced the way with 15 points. The girls also beat Ottawa Hills over break with a score of 61 to 32. McKendry Semer tallied 11 points and Miley scored 10.

The boys basketball team also won their opener, 52 to 37 against Tinora. Titus Rohrer had 18 points, Reese Jackson scored 15, and Caleb Zuver scored 13 points.

Swimming competed at the Bay Village Invitational on Saturday with The girls finishing 3rd and boys finishing 6th overall.

The 8th grade Lady Bears opened their season with a win over Edgerton 39 - 6.  It was a great team win.  Leading the way for the Bears was Ella Voigt with 9, Kailee Thiel with 8, Ella Rau 7, Tabithah Taylor 6, Molly Hess 3, with Wasson, Smith, and Andrews chipping in 2. The 7th grade Lady Bears also came out victorious with the final score being 15-13. The teams return to action at Wauseon on Thursday.
