2019-2020 Kindergarten Registration

Bryan Elementary Kindergarten Registration

~ Key Elements When Appling for Kindergarten ~

  1. Attend Parent Meeting
  2. Complete Online Registration
  3. Have your child screened

~ Incoming Parent Meeting ~

An incoming kindergarten parent meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 7:00PM in the Bryan Elementary cafeteria. If you have a child that turns 5 years old on or before September 30, 2019, he or she is eligible to be screened for kindergarten.

What you need to bring to the meeting on March 7th:

Your Child’s Certified Birth Certificate (State issued from Health Department)

Your Child’s Immunization Record

Proof of Residency in Bryan, OH – Current utility bills (gas, electric, water)

Custody Documents, if applicable

NOTE:  Your child will not be considered for Kindergaren if the above documents are not supplied

~ Online Registration ~

  • To speed up the process you may complete the online registration prior to your screening.
You will need to create a new account to register your child.  Please do not confuse this with your PowerSchool Parent account, if you already have children in school. The parent of every NEW student (including kindergarten) needs to create an account for new student registration. You can register more than one new student on that account.

~ Screening ~

~ If you are unable to attend the parent meeting, appointments can be made by calling Hulie Stockman, Central Registrar, at 419-633-6218 beginning March 11, 2019, between the hours of 8:00am-3:30pm.

~ At this meeting, parents will learn all about the kindergarten screening process, meet teachers, and also sign up for kindergarten screening appointments for March 28th and 29th.

~ All incoming kindergarten students must be screened before entering kindergarten.

~ Kindergarten screening will take place at Bryan Elementary, 1301 Center St. in Bryan.

~ All students screened must be accompanied by a parent.
