Every Student Succeeds Act Needs Input

The Ohio Department of Education is actively engaging with stakeholders, school leaders, teachers and parents as the department works to develop the state’s Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan. In an effort to reach out to more Ohioans about these important issues, the department created a survey to get feedback on several focus areas within ESSA.

Back to School Important Info - Grades PreK-5

Sharing some Back to School important info for grades PreK-5. Letters will be mailed home sometime during he week of August 22.

Dedication Ceremony & Open House
A dedication ceremony and open house for the new 6 to 12 building will be held on Sunday, September 11.  This event is open to everyone in the community!
Summer Lunch Program
Due to the late start of the school year in Bryan, NOCAC's Summer Food Program will be extending it's services offered to local families for an additional 4 weeks.
Transportation Information

Transportation Forms are necessary for all students utilizing shuttles or regular routes. Please follow the link below and pick the appropriate form for your student(s). Forms can be mailed or dropped off at the Field House. If you’ve already submitted a transportation form for the 2016-2017 school year, please do not submit another unless there is a change.

Parent Resources - StartTalking!

Know! provides parents (or grandparents and other caregivers) with twice monthly, FREE Know! Parent Tips by email that contain current facts about alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, as well as action steps they can take to help children resist peer pressure to use.

Community Forum Meeting - Tues, Apr. 19

You are invited to attend the spring community forum for Bryan City Schools.  The community forum will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church, beginning at 7:30 am on Tuesday, April 19. Staff and administrators will be presenting information on the educational trends and transformations that have been happening within the walls of the school as we prepare for the new school buildings to open in the fall.

Bryan Elementary PTO Color Run - May 14

The Bryan Area Foundation is seeking nominations for the 2016 Outstanding Educator of the Year.  This prestigious award, endowed at the Bryan Area Foundation by the Benedict family in memory of Greg Benedict, is presented annually to one of Bryan’s outstanding educators.  The criteria and past recipients are listed on the nomination form linked below.

Kdg 2016 Screening Parent Info Meeting - March 10

If you have a child that turns 5 years old on or before September 30, 2016 they are eligible to be screened for Kindergarten.  You are invited to learn about the Kindergarten and CUBdergarten program at Bryan City Schools.
