Great Season Isaac and Logan!!

The Bryan doubles team of Isaac Bowers & Logan King fell to Chris Montgomery & Alex Tambolini from East Liverpool High School on Friday afternoon at the OHSAA State Tennis Tournament held in Mason, Ohio by a score of 1-6, 4-6.

Congratulations and Good Luck Isaac Bowers and Logan King!! Go BEARS!

Logan King and Isaac Bowers punched their ticket to the state tennis tournament yesterday as they move on to the district semifinals. In their first match of the day, the duo defeated Willard's doubles team in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1. Their next matchup was against Edison. It took three sets (7-5, 2-6, 6-4) to defeat the Chargers. King and Bowers will play in Mason next week.

The team finished the season with a 10-2 record and finsihed in 2nd place at the NBTL Tournament.

DOUBLES TEAM BOWERS & KING MOVE ON TO DISTRICTS

Bryan's Isaac Bowers & Logan King defeated Ottawa Hills and Archbold to become sectional doubles champions on Saturday morning at Defiance College. Bowers and King defeated the doubles team of Rahul Bais and Will Estes (Ottawa Hills), 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 in sectional semi-finals. In the finals, the Golden Bear duo defeated Luke McQuade and Erik Short (Archbold) in two sets, 7-6 (8-6), 6-1. Bowers and King will compete as a one seed at the district tournament which takes place on Wednesday, May 16 at BGSU starting at 10am.

Note: With these two wins, this pushes Logan King to 54 career varsity wins. This breaks the record of 52 career wins set in 2016 by Eliot Pitman.

The Bryan boys tennis team closed out its regular season on Tuesday evening with a 4-1 win against Wauseon. The team finished the season at 10-2 overall and will compete in the Northern Buckeye Tennis League (NBTL) Tournament on Friday at Defiance College starting at 9am.

The Bryan boy's tennis team improved to 9-2 on the season with a 4-1 win against Elida on Monday evening. Bryan swept the singles matches while Elida earned their lone win at second doubles. Bryan will play their regular season finale on Tuesday afternoon as they host Wauseon.

The Bryan boys tennis team lost to Archbold on Thursday night, 2-3. Three of the five matches were decided in a third set. The loss drops Bryan to 7-2 on the season. Bryan travels to Maumee on Friday.

The Bryan Golden Bears were dealt their first loss of the season on Tuesday evening only to bounce back on Thursday with a 4-1 win against Van Wert. Bryan moves to 5-1 on the season and will host Ada on Friday at 4:30.

The Bryan boy's tennis team played at Springfield High School on March 26. BHS came away with a 4 to 1 win. The team is now 1-0 on the season. Individual results are below:
