8th Grade Girl's NWOAL Champs
Bryan’s 8th grade girls basketball team is NWOAL champions. The Lady Bears took down Wauseon Saturday afternoon by a score of 28-17. Bryan was led on the offensive end by Delilah Taylor with 9 points and Amaiah Valderas added 8. Addie Arnold chipped in with 6 points and played lockdown defense to help lead the Bears to a championship victory. 
 
7th Downed By Archbold
The 7th Boys fell to Archbold in Semi-Finals 48-19. Bryan ended their season 6-10.
 
8th Boys Fall to Wauseon
The Bears fell to Wauseon in the Semi-Finals of the League Tournament 33-28.
 
8th Girls Over Patrick Henry
Bryan's 8th grade girl's basketball team opened up NWOAL tournament play with a 41-19 win over Patrick Henry. This win moves the Lady Bear's record to 13-1 on the season. Bryan was led by Addie Arnold with 9 points and Amaiah Valderas with 8. 
 
7th and 8th Boys Both Win First Round Tournament Game
 
Bryan 7th grade defeated Evergreen in the first round of the NWOAL tournament 42-34. Dylan Dominque led the way with 24 points. Trevor Mason and Parker Vollmer chipped in with 8 and 6 points each. Bryan faces Archbold in the semifinals on Thursday at 5 pm.
 
8th Boys Beat Patrick Henry 33-31.
 
7th Girls Fall in Tournament Game
 
In the first round of the 7th Grade Girls NWOAL Tournament, at Wauseon Middle School, the Bryan Girls lost to Swanton 32-16.  The Bears were led by Blayze Langenderfer with 11, Allison Redhead with 3 and Morgan Hageman with 2.  The Golden Bears finished the season with a 5-9 record.

8th Grade Boys fallt o Defiance 43-34.

7th and 8th Boys Split With Hicksville

 
Bryan 7th grade basketball fell 34-31 to Hicksville in a hard fought game. Dylan Dominque led the way with 13 points while Ayden Pelz added 12.

 

Bryan 8th grade boys defeated Hicksville Thursday night, 40-38.  Hicksville tied the score at 38 all with just 8 seconds on the clock, when Bryan’s Quinn Brown raced the length of the floor for a layup that missed wide.  Mike Wolff scrambled for the rebound and put in a fadeaway turnaround jump shot from the left baseline that went through the basket as time expired, giving the Golden Bears the win.

Wolff had a total of 10 points, Quinn Brown had 13 and AJ Martinez tossed in 9 points to lead the Bears to victory.  The Bears trailed 13-2 in the first quarter as they started slowly.  Every Bryan player got minutes in the win, with Josh Taylor having a clutch 2 point shot late to help stay close, as did Jay Damron.  Jack Miller and Trenton Wolfe had 3 rebounds each, and Colton Smith had solid defense late in the 4th quarter to stymie the Aces comeback bid.

7/8 Girls Split With Archbold

The Bryan 7th Grade Girls lost to Archbold 36-18.  The Bears were led by Blayze Langenderfer with 10 points and Lizzie Long with 6 points.
Bryan's 8th grade girls' basketball team took down the Streaks of Archbold 36-33. This win ups the Lady Bear's record to 12-1 on the season. Bryan was led in scoring by Delilah Taylor with 16 points. Amaiah Valderas added 11 and Addie Arnold chipped in with 7. 
 
7/8 Boys Fall to Archbold
 
Bryan 7th grade boys basketball fell to Archbold 47-21.
8th Boys fall 34-27.
 
Wrestlers compete at the NWOAL Tournament
 
Bryan placed 6th on Saturday at the NWOAL Wrestling Tournament.
Finishing in 1st place was Malachi Collins. 3rd place finishers were Aiden Fenter and Tyler James. 4th place was Scott Sanders and Dale Davis.
 
7th and 8th Boys Basketball Over Ottawa
 
Bryan 7th grade boys basketball defeated Ottawa 31-26 on Saturday. Ayden Pelz led the way with 9 points. Evan Cox added 7 points and Trevor Mason hit two fourth quarter threes for 6 points.
 
The 8th grade boys put together a complete game Saturday at home against Ottawa, winning 50-32.  Bryan scoring was led by Quinn Brown who went 6 for 6 from the field for 13 points, together with 5 steals, to lead the team to the win.  Craig Jackson tossed in 15 points, and AJ Martinez added 9 off the bench as the Golden Bear squad forced at least 15 turnovers.  Colton Smith, Nathan Hess and Jack Miller each had 2 points, Korbin Shepard had 3.  Brady Foth took 3 charges on defense and Jay Damron added 3 steals for a defensive effort that smothered the much taller and bigger team from Ottawa.  The Bears are back in action at Archbold on Tuesday.
 
7th and 8th host Defiance
 
The Bryan 7th Grade Girls lost to Defiance 34-10 Tuesday night.  The Bears were led by Blayze Langenderfer with 8 and Lizzie Long with 2.
The 8th grade Lady Bears upped their record to 11-1 on the season with a convincing 55-18 win over Defiance. Bryan was led in the scoring department by Amaiah Valderas with 16. Addie Arnold chipped in with 8 and Allie Zimmerman with 7.
 
7/8 Girls Basketbal Split with Liberty Center
The Bryan 7th Grade Girls list to Liberty Center 35-17 Thursday night.  The Bears were led by Blayze Langenderfer with 14 points, Morgan Hageman with 2 and Allison Redhead with 1.
 
Bryan took down the Lady Tigers of LC by a score of 31-19 in 8th grade girls' hoops action. The Lady Bears turned up the defensive pressure in the second half to pull away for the victory. Bryan was lead in the scoring department by Addie Arnold who tallied 13 points to lead all scorers. 
 
8th Boys Defeated by Liberty Center
8th grade boys traveled to Liberty Center and feel 49-53.
 
7th and 8th Boys Play Evergreen
 Bryan 7th grade boys basketball defeated Evergreen 39-30. Dylan Dominque led the way with 17 points and Aiden Pelz added 7 points.
8th Boys Fell to Evergreen 29-49
 
7th and 8th Split at Napoleon
The Bryan 7th Grade Girls lost to Napoleon 35-16 Thursday night.  The Bears were led by Blayze Langenderfer with 13 points and Alli Alspaugh with 2.
 
Bryan handled Napoleon in 8th grade girls' basketball action by a score of 42-23. The Lady Bears raised their record to 9-1 on the season and were lead in scoring by Delilah Taylor with 17 points. Addie Arnold was also in double figures with 14. Allie Zimmerman contributed with 7 points, which included 2 three balls. 
 
7th and 8th Girls Win Against Antwerp
The Bryan 7th Grade Girls defeated Antwerp 22-14.  The Bears were led by Blayze Langenderfer with 18 points and Allison Redhead and Morgan Hageman with 2 points each.  The 7th Grade Girls are now 5-4 on the season.
The Lady Bears 8th grade girls' basketball team opened up 2018 with a 46-14 win over Antwerp. Bryan was lead in scoring by Allie Zimmerman who had 11. Contributions were also made by Ellyn Murphy with 7 points as well as Brooke Taylor and Jordan Beck who each added 6. Bryan is now 8-1 on the season.
 
JH Wrestlers Take 2nd place at the Antwerp Invitational
Top 3 teams were Ayersville 108, Bryan 106 and Wayne Trace 105. Taking first place for the Bears were Malachi Collins, Conor Brown. 2nd place finishers were Scott Sanders, Josh Maxcy, Jayden Hug. Placing fourth were Aiden Fenter and Tyler James.
 
7th and 8th Boys Defeat Napoleon
Bryan 7th grade boys basketball defeated Napoleon 48-26. Dylan Dominque led the way with 16 points. Trevor Mason added 6 points and Austin Koch added 4 points off the bench.
8th Boys defeated Napoleon 46-45.
 
7th and 8th Girls Over Patrick Henry
The Bryan 7th Grade Girls pushed their win streak to 3 in a row with a buzzer beater over Patrick Henry 21-19.  The Bears were led by Blayze Langenderfer with 14 and Allie Redhead with 5. The 7th Grade Lady Bears are now 4-4.
The 8th grade Lady Bears basketball team improved to 7-1 on the season with a 47-17 win over Patrick Henry. Addie Arnold and Delilah Taylor lead the way with 11 points each. Brooke Taylor came off the bench to add 7 points including one three ball. Amaiah Valderas and Allie Zimmerman combined for 12 points to contribute to the Bryan win. 
 
7th Loses and 8th Win Against Patrick Henry
Bryan 7th grade boys basketball fell to Patrick Henry 31-25 in a hard fought game. Leading the way for Bryan was Evan Cox with 9 points. Parker Vollmer added 4 points.

The 8th grade boys won their third game in a row, evening their record to 3-3 with a league win against Patrick Henry on Thursday at Bryan Elementary Gym.
Leading all scorers was AJ Martinez with 13.  Also in the scorebook were Korbin Shepherd and Colton Smith with 3 and Brady Foth chipped in 2.  Quinn Brown and Logan Moss had 3 assists in the win.

 
7th and 8th Boys Split With Delta

Bryan 7th grade boys basketball fell to Delta 40-35. Dylan Dominque had 11 points while Aiden Pelz added 8 for the Bears.

The Bryan 8th grade boys defeated Delta at home on Tuesday, 30-16.  Trenton Wolf, Josh Taylor and Blake Grube had 2 points each in the fourth quarter to put the game away late.  Brady Foth and Colton Smith had 2 rebounds each, and Nathan Hess had 2 steals defensively as the Bears full court press forced more than a dozen turnovers by the Panthers. 

The boys are back in action at home on Thursday against Patrick Henry.

7th and 8th Girls Beat Delta
The Bryan 7th Grade Girls defeated Delta 25-16.  The Bears were led by Blayze Langenderfer with 20 points and Alli Alspaugh with 4.
Bryan (6-1) traveled to Delta in 8th grade girls' basketball action and took down the Panthers by a score of 38-16. The Lady Bears were lead by Addie Arnold who finished with 14 points. Haylee Wheeler and Ellyn Murphy added 6 points each. 
 
7th and 8th Boys Over Fasset JH
Bryan 7th grade boys basketball team defeated Fassett Jr.High 22-20 on Saturday.  Bryan improves their record to 2-2. 
 

Bryan defeated Oregon Clay Fasset JH 8th grade Saturday 34-21.  Logan Mass led all scorers with 16 points, Mikey Wolff had 6 points, AJ Martinez had 4 points,  Carter Brown hit a three point shot and Nathan Hess & Korbin Shepherd each had 2 points in the win.

Jack Miller had 4 rebounds, and Jay Damron had 3 steals defensively, and Bryan’s full court press forced five consecutive turnovers with 10 points off those turnovers in the 3rd quarter to break the game wide open. 

Bryan hosts Delta on Tuesday.

7th and 8th Girls Beat Otsego
The Bryan 7th Grade Girls defeated Otsego 19-18. The Bears were led by Blayze Langenderfer with 15 points.
Bryan's 8th grade girls took down Otsego on Saturday morning by a score of 42-6. All 12 of the Lady Bears contributed in the game. Delilah Taylor lead the way once again with a game-high 10 points. She was followed by Amaiah Valderas (9), Jordan Beck (8) and Addie Arnold (6). 
 
7th and 8th Girls Split With Paulding
The Bryan 7th Grade Girls lost to Paulding 26-14. The Bears were led in scoring by Blayze Langenderfer with 7 points.
Bryan's 8th-grade girls' basketball team took down the Panthers of Paulding by a score of 38-26. Delilah Taylor lead the Bears with 13 points. Bench play was a key to success as Jordan Beck came in and added 6 points. Bryan also had needed contributions from Makenna Fry, Addie Arnold, and Ellyn Murphy. 
 
7th and 8th Boys Fall to Paulding

Bryan 7th grade boys basketball fell on a buzz beater in overtime to Paulding 38-35.  Dylan Dominque scored 17 while Aiden Pelz added 10 points to lead the Bears. 

Bryan 8th boys fall to Paulding 42-47.

JH Wrestlers Win Golden Bear Invitational
Bears win 142.5, second was Edgerton with 128.
Placing for the Bears - 1st - Malachi Collins and Connor Brown. 2nd - Owen Wheeler, Scott Sanders, Aiden Fenter and Josh Maxcy. 3rd - Garrett Marr and finsihing 4th - Jaydon Hug and Tyler James.

7th Boys Defeat Wauseon

Bryan 7th grade defeated Wauseon 30-26 in league play. Dylan Dominque had 11 points while Trevor Mason hit a 3 with less than a minute to go to give Bryan the lead. Bryan improves to 1-1 on the year.

7th and 8th Girls Fall to Wauseon
The Bryan 7th Grade Girls lost to Wauseon 35-7.  The Bears were led in scoring by Blaze Langenderfer.
Wauseon 8th grade girls' took down Bryan in girls' basketball action by a score of 21-18. Delilah Taylor scored 6 and Allie Zimmerman added 5 for the Lady Bears who fall to 3-1 on the season.
 
7th and 8th Girls Over Evergreen
The Bryan 7th Grade Girls defeated Evergreen 28-10 with Blayze Langenderfer leading the Bears with 24 points.
Bryan defeated Evergreen in 8th grade girls' basketball action by a score of 43-18. This wins keeps the Lady Bears unbeaten at 3-0. Delilah Taylor lead the team in scoring with 13 points. Amaiah Valderas, Allie Zimmerman, and Haylee Wheeler also contributed solid play in the victory. 
 
7/8 Girls Basketball split with Fairview
Bryan 7th lost to Fairview 55-13 Monday night.  The Bears were led by Blayze Langenderfer with 11 points.
 
The Lady Bears took down the Apaches in 8th grade girls' hoops by a score of 44-12. Amaiah Valderas lead Bryan on both ends of the floor with 12 points and stingy defense. Delilah Taylor was the other double-digit scorer with 10.
 
7/8 Boys Basketball Hosts Fairview
Bryan 7th grade boys basketball fell to Fairview 36-31. Dylan Dominque led Bryan with 12 points while Parker Vollmer added 8.
8th Boys lose 50-23.
The boys host Wauseon on Thursday, December 7th with 7th starting at 5:00.
 
JH Wrestlers finish 2nd at Montpelier Invitational
1st place Finisher - Aiden Fenter
2nd place Finisher - Conor Brown
3rd place - Owen Wheeler, Garrett Marr, Scott Sanders, Jayden Hug, Josh Maxcy and Malachi Collins.
 
Bryan defeated Edgerton 57-7 in 8th grade girls' basketball.
The Lady Bears were lead by Delilah Taylor who scored 15 points as well as Amaiah Valderas who chipped in with 10.
