GIRLS AND BOYS SECTIONAL CHAMPS

Congratulations to both boys and girls!

Leading the way for the Boys was Wade Allport bowling a 649. 

Leading the way for the Girls were Emma Meade with a 618 and Madison Foth with a 612.

BEARS WIN NWOAL LEAGUE AND TOURNAMENT

Bowling:
Bryan boys and girls won NWOAL League Championship.
Both teams also won the NWOAL tournament on Saturday.

Tournament results:
Kyle Shaffer was 1st with a 634 series
Noah Bany took 5th with a 610 series.
Girls tournament results:
Gabi Bany in 3rd with a 538 series
Madison Foth in 4th with a 535 series

League average.

BEARS FINISH WELL AT TOURNAMENT

Bryan boys and girls went to Rossford for a tournament. Boys placed 4th and girls placed 3rd.

Boys did a great job today. After 3 matches and 4 Baker games we were in 4th place. Top 4 teams out of 11 go into match play. We lost to St. Mary's putting us in 4th place.

Girls also had a good day. After 3 games and 6 bakers the girls were in 2nd place behind Stow. They had to match up against St Mary's also. St Mary's advanced.

Boys Kyle Shaffer and Noah Bany took 4th and 5th place on the all tournament team. 
Girls Jade Easley took 5th place on the all tourney team.

BEARS CONTINUE WINNING

Boys and girls both won on Senior night against Swanton. Honoring Seniors Kyle Shaffer, Noah Bany and Haylee Collins.

Boys 2478 to 2346. Leading the way for the Bears was Kyle with a 246, Matt Meade a 218, Austin Brandeberry a 217, and Noah with a 212.

Girls took care of business winning 2416-2068. Leading the way was Emma Meade with a 232 and a 229 and Jade Easley with a 238.

BRYAN BEATS TINORA

Bryan Boys had a great night beating the Tinora Rams 2527-2067. Bowling well for the Bears was Noah Bany with a 247. Austin Brandeberry rolled 212 and 202. Matt Meade had 215 and 200 games.

The Lady Bears won 2427-1826. Leading the way was Emma Meade with a 220. Faith Harding with a 215 and Madison Foth with a 203.

BEARS BEAT BULLDOGS

Bryan girls beat Defiance 1767-1192. Leading the way for the Bears was Faith Harding with 211 and 266 games and a 477 series.

Boys won 2033-1650. Leading the way Noah Bany with 206 and 201 games and a 407 series. Zane Laurin had a game high 203. Matt Meade had a 223 and Kyle Shaffer had 278 and 265 games with a 543 series.

GIRLS WIN, BOYS FALL TO PH

Bryan boys had their first defeat, coming at home.  Patrick Henry is good team and they bowled very will today.  PH 2433 - Bryan 2188. Now  that the perfect season is over we can take a deep breath and take some pressure off. Austin and Matt bowled well today.  Zane stepped in and bowled very good. We now have to get things back on track for Defiance on Thursday. 
Girls kept their great season going beating Patrick Henry 2341-1697. Jade bowled phenomenal tonight followed by Emma. Tonight was a much better night for the girls. Its great to see the girls responding to what we have been telling them.

BOWLERS BEAT WAUSEON

Bryan bowlers traveled to Wauseon and came back with wins. 
The Girls won 2287-2007. Leading the way was Emma Meade with a 224.
Boys score was 2413-2093. Austin Brandeberrt had a 244 and Kyle Shaffer a 203.
The bowlers host Patrick Henry on Friday at 4:00.

BOYS AND GIRLS LEAGUE WIN OVER EVERGREEN

Leading the way for the girls was Gabi Bany with a 205. The Boys were lead by Noah Bany with a  216 and Matt Meade with a 201.

BOYS AND GIRLS OVER DELTA

New year to start the second half of the season.  Both teams bowled well tonight. The kids came out and continued where we left off after the 1st half.  
The Bears hosted Delta in league play and Boys won 2471 - 2102. Noah Bany had high series with 490. Bowling a 234 and 256 was Noah Bany. Wade Allport bowed a 227 and Matt Meade bowled a 217.
The Girls won 2442-1745. Leading the way was Emma Meade with a 247, Faith Harding with a 232, Madison Foth a 214 and Jade Easley a 206.

BOWLING OVER THE BREAK

Bryan boys Bowling beat Swanton for the first time in 3 years 2136-1925. Girls also beat Swanton 2016-1604. Noah Bany had a 205 game and Kyle Shaffer had a 204.

The Bears hosted a bowling tournament over break. 

Stow took first on the boys followed by Bryan taking 2nd. 

Girls lost to Napoleon there first round.  Placing 3rd in the tourney.

BOWLING CONTINUES TO DO WELL

Bryan bowling boys and girls over Liberty Center.

Bryan girls bowled very well today. They were led by Emma Meade and Faith Harding.

Girls beat Liberty Center 2360-1915.

Boys took a decent lead 1st game but after 6 frames in the 2nd game we found our selves down about 180 pins. We had a slow start and LC was bowling great. I told the boys that it's now time to pick it up. That's just what we did. We brought it back within 26 pins which put us up by about 100 going into bakers where we finished strong. Bryan beat LC 2456-2205

BOYS AND GIRLS BOTH OVER TINORA

Boys Bowlers took a close one over TInora 2393-2115.
Leading the way for the boys was Austin Brandebery with a 434 series. He had a 243 game, Noah Bany had a 219 and Kyle Shaffer had a 204.

Girls took on Tinora and won 2383-1752. Madison Foth had a 413 series and a 226 game.

BOYS AND GIRLS CONTINUE TO ROLL

Boys did a great job today on the road. Both teams were fighting it out through the 1st 7 frames before we got some breathing room.  Then we kept chipping away in the second game.  This is the best we bowled all year it was great to see. We had 4 boys in the 400 range.  Noah Bany, Austin Brandeberry. A personal best for Wade Allport with a 243 game and a 402 series. Wade had been throwing a much better ball lately and it's pretty exciting to see. 

Girls did the thing as they have been on fire. Emma Meade continues her weekend dominance by shooting a 257 and 214  for a 471. She is bowling great right now.

GIRLS WIN NORTON INVITATIONAL

Bryan girls took 1st place at Norton Invitational with a 3915. Beating out not only Division 2 schools but also D1 schools.  Emma Meade led the tourney with a 650. Jade Easly hit a high game of the tourney with a 237. Emma, Jade and Madi Foth were all tourney team. Girls were making great shots and were covering up all there spares today. Its great to see this girls team come together and take the victory. Girls place 2nd at this tourney last year.  

The boys came out with great attitudes and finished the night in 9th place. The boys bowled a 3692.

 I'm very proud of the girls and boys teams.

BOYS AND GIRLS GET LEAGUE WIN

Bears bowling beat Wauseon at home tonight.  Wauseon is a team that every year gives us a challenge. I challanged the kids today to get out and just make good shots and ...not to worry about the score.  That's what happened tonight.  Girls bowled great.  Led by Emma Meade and Faith Harding. The girls got up in game 1 and never looked back. 

Boys were led by Noah Bany and Austin Brandeberry. Boys responded really will today and made good adjustments.  We travel to Norton on Saturday for the Nnorton invitational.

BOYS AND GIRLS BOTH WIN

Great home victory.  Boys were led by Kyle Shaffer. Noah Bany and Austin Brandeberry also had great nights.

Girls also started out strong but finished even stronger. The way was led by Madison Foth followed by 3 girls in the 360 range. Bears off to a good start this season.

BOWLERS TAKE ON DELTA

We had a great start to the season. Victories by both boys and girls. Boys led by or seniors Kyle Shaffer and Noah Bany. They both started off with a little struggle but kept fighting and popped out some good games and series to start with.  Girls were led by freshman Faith Harding and sophomore Gabi Bany. The under class man really stepped up today for the lady bears. Faith was bowling great. For a freshman to come in on opening night on an away match and put up the games she did is phenomenal. Hope to see what else she can do. Gabi also stepped it up her second game. Great to see that.
