JV FALL TO LIBERTY CENTER

In their seasonfinale, the Bryan JV football team was defeated by Liberty Center by a score of 40 to 23. In a game of big plays, Canon Lamberson scored on a 60 yard touchdown run, Conner Arthur scored on a 82 yard kickoff return and Noah Bany scored on a 6 yard rush for the Golden Bears.

JV FOOTBALL OVER PATRICK HENRY 24-16

The Bryan JV football team hosted Patrick Henry on Saturday, October 14. The Golden Bears came out victorious with a 24-16 win. Scores for the Bears came from Noah Bany on a 40 yard scamper, Canon Lamberson on a 25 yard run and Connor Arthur scored with a 46 yard touchdown pass from Lamberson to break the tie with a minute to go.

The Bryan Golden Bears JV team hosted Wauseon on Saturday. Wauseon came out on top 52-14. Cannon Lamberson connected with Adam Queen on a 60 yard touchdown pass for the Bears first score and Lamberson added a TD run for the other score. The Bryan JV team travels to Archbold next Saturday. 

LEAGUE WIN OVER SWANTON 27-24

Football had a real bar burner right her at Golden Bear Stadium on Friday. The Bears came down from a 17 point deficit in the 4th quarter to defeat Swanton by a score of 27-24. Zach Nobis three for 272 yards and three touchdowns while also running for a score. Evan Smith had 11 catches for 152 yards and Brycen Andrews had 5 catches for 132 yards.  The team plays at Wauseon this Friday.

JV LOSE TO SWANTON 20-8

The Bryan Golden Bears JV football team traveled to Swanton on Saturday to battle the Bulldogs of Swanton High. Despite forcing a fumble on defense (recovered by Tom Snyder) and a punt blocked by Titus Rohrer (recovered by J.J. Devlin), the Golden Bears were ultimately defeated by a score of 20-8. Cannon Lamberson scored the lone touchdown on a 4 yard run while passing to Titus Rohrer for the 2 point conversion. The JV team will be back in action on September 23 at Golden Bear Stadium to host the Wauseon Indians.

BRYAN WINS JV BATTLE OF THE BEARS

In the battle of the Bears, it was the Golden Bears of Bryan that came out victorious over the Woodward Polar Bears by a score of 20-8. Cannon Lamberson led the attack with a score through the air and one on the ground. Dylan McCandless finished the Polar Bears off with a rushing touchdown late in the fourth quarter. The Bears improve to 1-1 on the season and return to action next Saturday at Crestview.

JV BEARS LOSE 14-6

The Bryan JV football traveled to Van Wert on Saturday, August 26. Van Wert prevailed by a score of 14-6 despite an interception from Braden Showalter and a fumble recovery by Isaiah Hale. The lone TD for Bryan was a one yard rumble by Cannon Lamberson. The JV Golden Bears return to action next Saturday to defend their home turf against the Woodward Polar Bears.
