February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Let’s do our part to break the cycle because everyone deserves healthy relationships.

Any junior interested in attending the Northwest State Community College Fair on Tuesday, March 7th needs to sign up in Mrs. Bassett’s office ASAP.

If you are planning on joining the junior high track team and didn't sign up at Tuesdays info meeting, stop by the middle school office today. You will need to sign up and get the track info sheet. If you have any questions, contact Coach Cummins.

Hey teachers are you doing something cool in the classroom that you would like to share with us or the yearbook staff? Or students, do you have pictures of you and your friends at the basketball game? Now is your chance to share them using the Replay It App by Jostens.

The varsity Lady Bears mauled the Wildcats of Napoleon by a score of 41 to 38 on senior night. Leading scorers for the Bears were Allye Minor with 14 points and Kennedy Lamberson added 12 points. The Lady Bears play their last home game on Thursday against Patrick Henry with JV at 6:00.

Monday, Feb. 13th

Attention all 7th and 8th graders interested in joining the Jr. High track team this year. There will be an information meeting Tuesday, February 14th during AA at the teaching stairs. Come to sign-up and the to hear the Top Ten things you need to know about the upcoming season. Did you know that over half of men and women that experienced physical or sexual abuse first experienced it between the ages of 11 and 24? February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. To raise awareness, we are asking that students wear orange tomorrow to help spread the word. Let’s do our part to break the cycle because everyone deserves healthy relationships. The FCCLA Bake Shop will be open tomorrow! Come in and buy a heart cookie for your Valentine or just for yourself! All cookies and beverages are $1.00 each. Doors open at 7:30. (2/17) Middle School Sports Scores 8th grade girls defeated Delta Saturday in the championship game, 24-23. Jadynn Cupp had 12 points! The girls ended up 17-3, league champs and tournament champs as well. Great season girls! 7th grade girls competed in the Championship League game on Saturday. Coming up short against Liberty Center. The 7th girls ended up NWOAL regular season champs, and runner-up in the Tournament game. Good season Lady Bears!! High School Sports Scores Varsity Boys beat Delta in league play 61-32. Leading scorer for Bryan was Josh Jones with 11. Varsity Boys Beat Napoleon on Saturday 62-56. Leading scorers were Zhane Cupp with 15, Peyton Lamberson had 11, and scoring 10 were Evan Smith and Colt Arthur. Congratulations boys and girls bowlers, NWOAL Champions!!! Congratulations to Swimmers and Divers! With everything that has happened over the last three weeks, the athletes were able to overcome and perform their best times of the season.
